Pear Tree Catering is pleased to announce it has been selected as the exclusive catering and food service provider for the newly constructed Civic Center in Round Lake Beach. Chosen from among several of Chicago's finest catering companies, Pear Tree will operate the new facilities' food and beverage service which includes a ball room which seats up to 350 persons, adjoining exhibition space as well as an outdoor stage and amphitheater for concerts and other outdoor activities. The 33,000 sq. ft. building is currently under construction on Hook Lake in downtown Round Lake Beach. Adjacent to the Metra Station, the Civic Center will include parking for up to 400 cars with beautifully groomed grounds that will be available for corporate, and family outings and picnics.
The Ballroom, with its outdoor veranda will be the perfect setting for receptions and will overlook the Hook Lake through floor to ceiling windows. The ballroom will be divisible in half and will include a state of the art stage for meetings, concerts, presentations, and performances. The building will be the new home to the Improv Playhouse which plans to host a number of performances annually at the facility. The Civic Center is also perfect for corporate meetings, exhibitions, weddings, social gatherings and city events. Additionally, the building will feature a number of meeting rooms with expansion planned for an additional 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting space to be available during phase two of the construction.
